The Town of Coaldale is located just 11 kms East of Lethbridge with a current population of just over 8,000 residents.
The Town is fully serviced including a library, museum, outdoor swimming pool and tot lot with spray park, indoor and outdoor ice rinks and curling club, the “Quad” sports fields, community centre, and picnic shelters along with restaurants, grocery store, bakery, bank and much more. The town also offer a curb side recycling and garbage pick up program.
Coaldale is also home to the Alberta Birds of Prey Centre, Canada’s largest Birds of Prey facility. Situated on a 70 acre wetland area site, the centre is a celebration of nature featuring hawks, falcons, eagles and owls of Alberta. The centre has been called a “must-see” attraction delighting many visitors from around the world and when they do visit, they are guaranteed to have an unforgettable wild experience.
